Info

Although I’ve experimented with many parts of the world that is technical theater, you’ll most commonly see me running the sound for a concert or production. I occasionally vary that routine by stage managing or directing, in addition to giving suggestions on all aspects of a production to help improve the quality.

From 1997 through 2003 I was part of the board of directors for Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre as both treasurer and vice president and then in 2006 I resumed my work with them as co-president until September 2013.

From 2001 through 2018 I’ve served as the Entertainment Chair and board member for the Wausau Festival of Arts in addition to being the festival president for my third term ending with the 2013 Festival.

In addition to those non-profits, I was part of two new organizations that were formed, Introspect Dance Company and Colossal Fossils. I worked as a house manager at Wausau’s historic Grand Theater on Artsblock — all this in addition to teaching fourth grade at Franklin Elementary in Wausau, Wisconsin!

2011 marked the start of a new adventure for me, Abe Gabor Theatrical, LLC was formed. This was done to make the government more happy! But, Abe Gabor Theatrical, LLC was dissolved several years later, after my move to Minnesota.

During the summer of 2017 I began volunteering with the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee’s Crew 52 at different events around Minnesota. And, I worked in US Bank Stadium during Super Bowl LII. This led to me taking a part time job there working as a Guest Experience Lead and Tour Guide. A year later I volunteered with the 2019 Minneapolis Final FourĀ® Local Organizing Committee.

In 2021 I became a member of the Minneapolis Musical Theatre Board of Directors. MMT has really made me feel at home, like Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre always did. I also continue to find new and wonderful organizations to work with. Reach out to me if you need a sound designer or operator.

I am always looking for my next big gig!
